PROGRAMS - The Programs committee assists the Programs Director with planning CREW’s calendar of monthly events. Committee members jointly identify topics for the year and engage speakers to provide cutting-edge presentations to our members and guests. MEMBERSHIP, MEMBER SERVICES -This committee provides support to the Membership Director. Committee members help to recruit new members at events by sharing their success through membership. Throughout the year there will be Member Recruiting Events attached to regular programmed events for current members. MEMBERSHIP, MEMBER’S ONLY -Member’s Only functions provide networking and socializing opportunities outside the monthly luncheon programs. Member Only events will be held once a quarter, in unique venues around the Tampa Bay area. Committee meetings will be held four times a year. Committee members will be required to head up the planning of one event a year and develop the special program for that event. Contact Paula Saracki
MEMBERSHIP, AMBASSADORS -The Ambassadors promote opportunities for networking at CREW Tampa Bay functions. This is conducted at monthly meetings as well as other events throughout the year. Ambassador’s welcome new members and guests, continue to engage current members and facilitate networking among CREW members. They also conduct table discussions at the monthly meetings to encourage networking. Ambassadors should be motivated and outgoing volunteers who are always looking to meet members and help form lasting relationships. Contact Fred Wallrapp
SPONSORSHIP -This committee works with the Sponsorship Director throughout the year to secure sponsors for CREW Tampa Bay programs and events. The financial support provided by sponsors assist the chapter to create new membership programs to retain and build membership. ART LOUD/ADOPT DOWNTOWN - CREW has adopted downtown! If you are interested in: 1) dazzling downtown with SCULPTURE and Art or 2) the design and implementation of the Riverwalk, please sign up for the Adopt Downtown Committee. The Adopt Downtown Tampa is a committee which will be ongoing for an undetermined period of time. We’ve set up Task Forces within the committee so you can decide to participate in a more focused way in just one or multiple Task Forces! We will look to our committee to determine what issues we tackle next and create new taskforces as needed. Contact Abbey Dohring
GO FISH! TOURNAMENT - Go Fish! is CREW Tampa Bay’s annual fundraising event. Begun in 1996, this day-long networking and fishing event is for fisherman and non-fisherman alike with chartered fishing boats, land-lover activities and great food, drink and camaraderie at a fun filled award ceremony. The committee meets periodically for approximately 5 months prior to event held in May of each year. Contact Deborah Sheridan
COMMUNICATIONS/MEDIA/PR - The committee will identify topics, write articles and recommend authors, and solicit written materials to provide relevant information to our members, including emerging trends and technological advances. Each committee member will take a lead role in developing and/or soliciting industry-related content for CREW Tampa Bay’s newsletter, The Navigator, which is distributed to the membership. Involvement is ongoing throughout the year with quarterly meetings prior to each issue. Committee will also support the PR efforts of the chapter to continue to keep CREW Tampa Bay in the media throughout the year. Contact Deborah Dowd
