March 5 saw over 140 commercial real estate professionals recognize Alex Sink as a trailblazer in the business world. Guests watched a short video recognizing Alex in her professional and personal life. Many guests were thrilled to have the chance to wish her well in person. Her daughter Lexi Crawford spoke eloquently about Alex as a mother and a business woman. It was a great event, which CREW Tampa Bay holds annually to spotlight those women that have blazed a trail to help those of us that come now to know anything is possible. They inspire us to do great things personally and professionally.

Following the oustanding success of the 2012 Excellence Awards CREW Tampa Bay has confirmed their Awards Gala Dinner date for 2013 as Thursday, December 5.  Over 250 guests attended the Fire and Ice Dinner at the historic Vinoy Hotel in St. Petersburg with guest of honor Mayor Bill Foster.  Leading organizations such as Penn Florida, Masters Construction and ABI Companies were leading supporters of the event.  More pictures of the event are on the website and the chapter office can provide copies of any picture.

CREW Member GLE was nominated by the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce for the Small Business of the Year Award. The selection process involves three rounds of judging. The first entails a detailed application process, the second a twenty-minute interview and the third a one-hour site visit. GLE was very excited to be selected as a finalist for this award. Bob Greene confirmed the process was both rewarding and enjoyable!
